II. Medical Services
The department is structured into four subspecialties: Gynecologic Oncology Ward, General Gynecology Ward, Gynecological Endocrinology Ward, and Pelvic Floor Diseases Ward. The department can independently, systematically, and standardly diagnose and treat gynecological diseases specified in clinical practice guidelines. It possesses a strong comprehensive capability in diagnosing and treating complex gynecological diseases and critically ill patients. The department can independently perform routine and highly difficult gynecological surgeries, with distinct diagnostic and therapeutic features in minimally invasive surgery for benign and malignant gynecological tumors.
Minimally invasive surgery, centered on endoscopic techniques, is a hallmark. Currently, the level of gynecological endoscopy in our department reaches nationally advanced standards. Procedures performed include laparoscopic pelvic lymphadenectomy, laparoscopic radical hysterectomy for cervical cancer, staging surgeries for endometrial and ovarian cancer, resection of deep endometriosis lesions, hysteroscopic resection of submucous myomas, hysteroscopic adhesiolysis for intrauterine adhesions, and hysteroscopic resection of uterine septa. Hysteroscopic and laparoscopic minimally invasive surgeries offer minimal trauma and rapid recovery, benefiting patients and yielding positive social outcomes. Currently, these procedures account for over 65% of the department's surgeries. Notably, single-port laparoscopy has been widely applied in the diagnosis and treatment of both benign and malignant gynecological diseases, receiving high praise from patients and coverage by multiple media outlets.
